The Virtual Blue Spectres demonstration is built upon 25 minutes of nonstop precision aerobatics, consisting of formation rolls, loops, and dynamic breaks. The aircraft selected to be apart of our team has been a perfect choice for the past four years, proven through it's durability and overall characteristics.

This popular aircraft has been the primary choice since the formation of the team in June of 2015. The Aero Vodochody L-39 Albatros was built as a principal training aircraft during the 1960's for the Czechoslovak and Soviet Air Forces. Designed to be a cost-effective aircraft, the L-39 flies under the use of both military and civilian pilots around the world, even after many years in existence.
Due to the exceptional power and maneuverability for such a low-cost trainer aircraft, it continues to fly with operational flexibility, affordability, and simplicity.

The team operates off the DCS: L-39C/ZA Albatros Module. This mod delivers top of the line handling and a highly detailed flight model, enabling our ability to perform each and every maneuver that is apart of our routine with precision, elegance, and swiftness. It is also capable of light ground attack, carrying any combination of weapons consisting of rocket pods, bombs, and guns.
From cockpit instruments and switches, to the detailed modelling and research that has formed realistic engine behavior, this aircraft, without a doubt, is a masterpiece in itself to take the controls of.
